Questions We Get a Lot

Capacity requirements depend on your vehicle's gross weight, not just its curb weight — always account for a safety margin above the listed vehicle weight. For most passenger cars and light trucks, a 7,000–12,000 lb rated lift covers the range confidently. Check your vehicle's documentation and match it to the lift's rated capacity before purchasing.

Yes — 2-post lifts require a solid, level concrete slab of sufficient thickness and compressive strength to anchor safely. Most manufacturers specify a minimum slab depth and PSI rating in their installation documentation. Review the product's included specs carefully and consult a qualified contractor if you are unsure about your floor's suitability before beginning assembly.

Ceiling clearance needs to exceed the lift's maximum raised height plus the height of the vehicle on the lift — not just the lift's own spec. A lift rated at 70+ inches of rise requires additional overhead room for the vehicle on top of that figure. Measure your garage's floor-to-ceiling height and subtract your tallest vehicle's roofline before selecting a model.

We stand behind every order with our 30-Day Return policy. If your lift arrives with shipping damage or does not perform as described, reach out to our team within 30 days of delivery and we will work through the return process with you. Full details are available in our Return Policy.

About Our Car Lifts

A car lift is one of the most transformative additions a serious home mechanic or professional shop can make to their workspace. Rather than crawling on a cold floor with a floor jack and stands, a properly rated lift raises the entire vehicle to a comfortable working height — giving you clear, stable access to the undercarriage, suspension, exhaust, and drivetrain. The result is faster work, better visibility, and a meaningfully safer environment under the vehicle. Car lifts are built for a wide range of users: weekend enthusiasts who want to maintain their own vehicles properly, detailers who need full underside access, and working mechanics who need reliable throughput day after day. When choosing a lift, the critical factors are weight capacity relative to your heaviest vehicle, the structural condition and thickness of your concrete floor, available ceiling height once the vehicle is raised, and the drive mechanism — hydraulic systems offer smooth, controlled raise and lower cycles suited to frequent use. Portable and foldable options bring flexibility for smaller garages, while fixed two-post configurations anchor to the floor for maximum stability under sustained loads. Match the lift to your actual use case and your space, and it will elevate how you work for years to come.
